Probably should grab a manual download for the X32. I suppose Core Audio is more intelligent and it just says "here, use all these, man." I'll look into the mixer routing setting a bit later this week and fiddle around until something works. I know that in Windows, at least when using ASIO drivers, I am used to seeing an option in the audio config to choose my starting and ending inputs and outputs. I bet dollars to donuts that the issue is at your X32. Reaper is pretty much foolproof when connected via USB to a mixer, and with the Allen & Heath, I almost have to go out of my way to screw it up. If I've used the stage box at a show, then I have to remember to reset those inputs (or vice-versa). The streaming outputs need to be set at the mixer, and I'm sure it's the same for yours as well. The QU shows up as inputs 1 through 32, but as mentioned above, if there are any problems, it's at the mixer. Select the mixer in the devices window, turn on USB streaming at the QU, and that's about it. I use Reaper (on a mac) with a Allen & Heath QU-32, and the setup couldn't be more simple. Not really sure how to ask my question, so I think what I am trying to ask is, how do I get Reaper to see channels 1-32 on the X32 as the respective input number? When I go to select an input for recording, I do get the 1-32 channels as options, however, it seems things are not mapped the in the right way somehow. I went into preferences and set the X32 as the audio device.
So, i went to do some trials yesterday and installed Reaper on the Mac. My thought was to track some drums there in Reaper, export the stems, and take them back home to work on later.

I have Reaper running just fine at my meager home studio in a different OS, however, my church has an X32 and a Mac back in the sound booth, and a WONDERFUL place to track drums. Let me start by saying, i'm not a mac guy.
